The “Tax Map Browser” is a tool for searching and browsing our collection of tax maps.
This map has a number of features and tools available:
The Main Map
The map in the center of the screen is main tool in this browser.
The map has the PLSS boundaries layered over the latest aerial imagery to make it easy to zoom in and find the section and tax map page you are looking for. As you zoom in or pan around the map, the column to the left of the main map titled “Tax Map Pages” will automatically update and only display the tax map pages that are currently viewed on the map.
Additionally you can search for a particular PIN (with and without hyphens) or Address on the main map. In the upper-right of the map you will find the search bar. Begin typing, and the search tool will auto-suggest features that match your search.
Years Available
The bottom-left tile on the browser is titled “Years Available”.
After finding the particular Tax Map Page you are looking for using the main map, select the particular Tax Map Page from the “Tax Map Page” tile in the upper-left and then once selected, the “Years Available” tile will automatically update with the years available for the selected Tax Map Page.
Please note, not every Tax Map Page will have each year’s historic Tax Map Page available for viewing.
Viewing A Historic Tax Map
The tile on the right of the browser will display the historic Tax Map Page once selected from “Years Available” tile.
Select any year available from the “Years Available” tile and then the historic Tax Map Page will appear on right most tile on the browser. However, depending on a users search engine, the map might not appear directly in the right most tile on the browser. In this case, click the link on the bottom of the right most tile to view the Tax Map Page as a PDF directly.
